Why it's made this way

I ask the same question with every piece: if I were blind, would I still want it. That's the test that decides everything, because most people design for photos first and forget the piece has to be worn.

220 GSM combed compact jersey was chosen over a lighter cotton because it holds its shape through the day instead of going limp by noon. The sleeve stripes are cut from the same fabric as the body, not a separate panel, so the weight and stretch stay consistent across the whole shirt. Small choices like this are the difference between a shirt that looks good on a hanger and one that still looks good after you've worn it.

I design every piece to meet my own standard first. If it doesn't hold up to that, it doesn't go into a collection.
